Refund Policy

1. General Provisions

1.1. This Refund Policy (hereinafter — the “Policy”) defines the procedure and conditions for the refund of payments made to the online school Detect.Expert Academy (hereinafter — the “School”).

1.2. The owner of the School is Vektor T13 Technologies B.V. (hereinafter — the “Administration”).

1.3. This Policy applies to all educational products and services provided by the School.


2. Refund Conditions

2.1. Right to a Refund

  • A student has the right to request a refund within 14 (fourteen) calendar days from the date of payment for a course.

  • A refund may be requested for any reason within the specified period.

  • The refund request must be made in writing and sent to support@detect.expert.

2.2. Limitations

  • After the 14-day period, refunds are not available.

  • If more than 10% of the course has been completed, the School reserves the right to decline the refund request.


3. Refund Procedure

3.1. To request a refund, the user must:

  • Send a refund request via email to support@detect.expert.

  • Specify the reason for the refund.

  • Provide payment details (date, amount, payment method).

  • Attach a document confirming the payment.

3.2. KYC (Know Your Customer) Procedure

The School reserves the right to request identity verification documents.

As part of the KYC process, the following may be required:

  • A passport scan

  • A selfie with the passport

  • Proof of ownership of the payment method used


4. Refund Method

4.1. Refunds are made:

  • Only to the same account or payment details used for the original transaction

  • In the same currency as the original payment

  • Using the same payment method as used for the purchase

4.2. Refund Processing Time:

  • Review of the refund request — up to 3 business days

  • Execution of the refund after approval — up to 10 business days

  • In case of a required KYC procedure, the processing time may be extended


5. Special Cases

5.1. When paying in installments:

  • The refund amount is calculated minus the cost of services already provided

  • All future installment payments are canceled

5.2. When using promo codes or discounts:

  • The refund is based on the actual amount paid

  • Used promo codes are not restored


6. Exceptions to the Refund Policy

Refunds are not provided in the following cases:

  • Violation of the platform usage rules

  • Transfer of course access to third parties

  • Violation of the School’s intellectual property rights


7. Amendments to the Refund Policy

7.1. The Administration reserves the right to make changes to this Policy.

7.2. The new version of the Policy takes effect from the moment it is published on the website.
